‘Freeze Your Bun’ Run celebrates 10-year anniversary, Feb. 3

The Hamel Lions Club will, for the tenth consecutive year, hold a “Super Bowl Freeze Your Buns Run”. This is a 5k run, or walk, held on Sunday, Feb. 3, with registration beginning at 9:45 a.m. at the Hamel Community Center, 3200 Mill St. (look for the directional sings on Hamel Rd.).

There are reduced early and team registration fees, as well as t-shirts, for entries postmarked, or paid, by Jan. 25. Please go to the Hamel Lions web site (www.hamellions.org) for entry forms. Free childcare is available during the run, and leashed pets welcome.

Coinciding with the run, a pancake breakfast will be held at the Hamel VFW from 8 a.m. to noon with a nominal fee, all proceeds benefiting the community through the Hamel Lions Club.

All run participants will receive a free breakfast.

Come out and support the community in this fun and popular annual event, as a participant or observer, and jumpstart your Superbowl Sunday.
