Crimson puck girls go 1-2
Maple Grove dropped two conference games and won a non-conference contest in last week’s girls’ hockey action.
The Crimson lost to conference leader Andover 2-0, beat Sartell/Sauk Rapids 4-0 and fell to Champlin Park 3-2.
Maddie Woo scored two goals in the win and Paige Nassko and Hailey Herdine each netted one. Moo added another goal against Champlin Park. Summer Thibodeau scored the other MG goals. The Rebels won the game in the third period on a short-handed goal.
The Crimson, now 7-4-2 in the conference and 9-7 overall, next visit North Metro Saturday, Jan. 19.
