Anoka Area Chamber hosts conflict resolution seminar
The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Manufacturer Coalition will host the seminar, “Conflict Resolution: A Critical Competency for 21st Century Leaders” Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Connexus Energy, 14601 Ramsey Boulevard, Ramsey. Karen Black, of Insight Edge will lead the presentation. Black has more than 20 years of experience both internal and external to organizations, in the fields of assessment, coaching, consulting, facilitation and leadership development. Her experience includes business, industry, nonprofit and education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Science in Management from Baker University. Black has a Master’s of Arts in Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution from Baker University.

11:15 – 11:45 a.m. — Meet and greet, registration and networking
11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — Cohort Secession presented by Karen Black, Insight Edge
12:30 – 1 p.m. Consensus on discovery and direction Moving Forward
A structured process will be outlined to help participants successfully address and resolve conflict. There is no charge to attend, but is only open to Manufacturing organizations. Lunch will be provided.
