Warm hearts make warm hands

Seventh grade Family and Consumer Sciences students worked on a Children’s Mitten Service Project. Students who finished their required shorts project early worked on the Mitten Project during class. Twenty pairs of mittens were donated — actually 40 mittens made as they are all double thick to be Minnesota-warm. The mittens were donated to students in need at Jackson Middle School (JMS) and Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy. The fabric was donated by JMS staff.
