On Thursday, Dec. 20, at 9:22 a.m. at County Rd. 24 and Tamarack Dr., Timothy Mavin Bringer, 47, of Stillwater was cited for theft after leaving a Holiday gas station without paying for gas pumped into his vehicle.
On Monday, Dec. 17, at 6:15 p.m. at County Rd. 101 and Highway 55, officer reported to the area following a report of a gas odor, cut could not detect it. The Hamel Fire Department was advised to cancel.
On Monday, Dec. `17, at 11 a.m. on the 300 block of Clydesdale Tr., there was a report of a suspicious male in a military type clothing standing out along the road with a sign. Officer located the male, who had a “homeless, looking for work” sign. The male stated that he was looking for a shelter in Minneapolis or Rochester, but declined a ride from the office saying that he had a ride coming. He was advised that he could not advertise for money or bother customers on private property.
On Saturday, Dec. 22, at 4:04 p.m. on the 1600 block of Homestead Tr., an individual called and reported that corn he had set out for squirrels was being eaten by a raccoon. The animal did not appear to be ill. He as advised that if the animal was posing a physical threat or damaging property, officers would not respond. The reporting party the asked if he could dispose of the animal himself, and was advised of the city’s ordinance regarding fire arm use.
