The following represents some, but not nearly all, of the calls reported by Rogers Police from Monday, Dec. 24 through Friday morning, Dec. 28.
Monday, Dec. 24
Jarryd Bryan Bohl, 21, was cited at Rogers Drive and 134th Avenue for driving after suspension.
Reporting Party Found Silver Money Clip (Harley Davidson) with $413 in cash. Party stated she would hold money until someone claims it. Dollar Tree advised if someone comes into the store asking about money they lost to contact the police department. Owner called into Police Department and money was returned.
Andrew Michael Vetter, 21, was arrested for domestic assault at 21200 block of 123rd Ave.
Lynne Ann Schwocho, 66, was cited for canceled driving status. Dispatch advised of a traffic complaint coming into the city of Rogers. The complainant advised the vehicle was, “All over the road and varying speeds.” Officers located this vehicle and conducted a traffic stop after the vehicle went the wrong direction of travel on John Milless Drive at County Rd. 81.
Tuesday, Dec. 25
Dispatch advised of a subject wishing to report his vehicle stolen sometime during the day Dec. 15 at Preserves at Commerce apartments at Commerce Boulevard. Officer determined that a dirt bike style motorcycle had been taken from the underground parking garage. The motorcycle was entered as stolen.
Wednesday, Dec. 26
John Neuman Reque, 26, was arrested for DWI-second degree refusal. Officers responded to a property damage crash at 147th Avenue and Main Street. The driver of one vehicle rear ended another vehicle and was arrested for Second Degree Driving While Impaired and Test Refusal. The suspect was transported to Hennepin County Jail and is being held.
Friday, Dec. 28
Party left her purse inside a closed business at Rogers Drive. Victim’s sister (Hennepin County Dispatcher) picked the purse up and all seemed to be in the purse.
Responded to fire alarm at Taco Bell covering all smoke and heat sensors. Alarm was caused from the smoke that is given off when the employees were cleaning the grills at close. Rogers Fire Department responded as well. There was no actual fire and no damage occurred.
Justin Lee Johnson, 30, was cited for actions leading to a car crash at Commerce Boulevard and South Diamond Lake Road. Vehicle involved in crash after backing/rolling into another vehicle.
