The team was back in action Monday, Dec. 17 for a Northwest Suburban Conference Meet at Anoka High School squaring off against Andover, Elk River, Park Center and Centennial. Champlin Park came in 3rd behind Elk River and Andover.

“It was very close, us three were only points behind each other,” said head coach Meredith Fessler. Fessler is a former Champlin Park High School dance team member herself. She coached the fall team one year and is now in her second year coaching the winter team.

For Jazz, the team splits into Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. The Varsity Jazz team performs to “Fireworks” while the Junior Varsity performs to “How Will I Know?”

After the holiday break, the team will be back at it competing in the Blaine Invitational Saturday, Jan. 5.
