The following represents some, but not nearly all, of the calls reported by Rogers Police from Monday, Dec. 17 through Friday morning, Dec. 21.
Monday, Dec. 17
Assist Maple Grove Police checking an address for a gas drive off. Located the registered owner who stated his license plate was stolen yesterday in St. Michael. The owner appeared to have been sleeping and showed his vehicle that was missing a rear plate. Advised registered owner to remove the other plate from the vehicle and turn into DMV. Also advised him to report the plate stolen to Wright County Sheriff.
Dispatched to a call of someone digging through the mailbox at residence at 26000 block of Sylvan Lake Rd. A white or grey passenger car was last seen westbound on Sylvan Lake Road. Checked area, unable to locate. Reporting party said this was the second incident.
Stopped by Vision Bus and advised that who ever is pushing the snow across James Road is in violation of state statute. Company will correct the person who is responsible for such violation.
Homeowner reported an unknown male driving a white passenger car had dumped two bags of leaves into the yard at 22400 block of Wood Duck Court. Witnessed by a neighbor according to the homeowner, no plate information available. Information received.
Tuesday, Dec. 18
Reporting party at 12500 block of Fletcher Lane wanted to file a theft report regarding three snowmobiles and an ATV. The items were stored on the property when reporting party was evicted. Reporting party said that the landlord was keeping the property until she paid him money for overdue rent. Called landlord, who agreed to release the property to the reporting party.
Two-vehicle property damage crash reported at 1:41 p.m. at westbound South Diamond Lake Road at Rogers Drive. Both vehicles towed from the scene. A median marker sign was knocked down, Rogers Public Works Dept was advised.
Travis Dean Melby, 18, was arrested by Cabela’s Asset Protection staff, misdemeanor theft. He was turned over to Rogers Police. The suspect was issued a citation and released.
Justin Gerrett Mcconnell-Luer, 25, was cited for following too close and failure to signal lane chance at 141st Avenue and Main Street.
Wednesday, Dec. 19
Bradly Steven Ziemba, 42, was arrested for felony warrant detail in Hennepin County.
Gas drive-off at Holiday #1. Vehicle’s plate caught on camera at pump 6, but plate comes back to a different vehicle than what was at the pump. Plate also appears to have possibly been altered or tampered with the letters appearing suspicious. Total loss of $34.79 in fuel.
Joshua Reed Olson, 26, was arrested for canceled driver’s license at South Diamond Lake Road and Wellstead. Driver was arrested and booked into Hennepin County Jail. Vehicle was released to registered owner who was a passenger.
Thursday, Dec. 20
Devante Boutee Johnson, 20, was arrested for Hennepin County warrant at South Diamond Lake Road and Main Street.
Eric Jon Krueger, 42, was cited for misdemeanor theft from Cabela’s. Arrested at gas station at 20200 Rogers Dr.
Friday, Dec. 21
Officers were dispatched to a call of a possible house fire at a Rogers residence. The caller was a friend of the homeowner and had heard the smoke detector going off inside the house and no one was home. Rogers Police and Fire were unable to locate any smoke or fire.
