On Dec. 9 students from Osseo Area Schools were among those who spent time on Mall of America Field before the Minnesota Vikings beat the Chicago Bears. The students even got to run through the tunnel just before the players took the field. The students were actively involved in Fuel Up to Play 60, which is a national in-school program created by the Midwest Dairy Council and the National Football League that encourages students to eat healthy and be active for 60 minutes a day.
Eric Porter, a student at Park Brook Elementary School in Brooklyn Park, joined his program advisor Michelle Meyer and students Andy Witters and Kylie Kasprick of Elm Creek Elementary in Maple Grove with their program advisor Kristin Lokken. Linda Broberg, Fuel Up to Play 60 program advisor at Palmer Lake Elementary School in Brooklyn Park also participated.
