DHS students define citizenship
Delano American Legion Post 377 recently sponsored an essay contest entitled “What Does it Mean to be an America?” The winners, left to right, are Delano High School students Ashley Simonsen, Amanda Goedeke and Mary Meehan. Winning authors received a certificate and cash award for their serious and well-communicated answers.
