Notice is hereby given that the Police Department of the City of Maple Grove will be auctioning surplus, found, unclaimed and seized items in an online auction. The online auction can be found on the internet at www.propertyroom.com . Some of the items that will be auctioned are: bicycles, electronic equipment, computers, and tools.
The auction billing may be viewed on the Maple Grove City web site at http://www.ci.maple-grove.mn.us/ , then select City Departments from the left column, select Police, under the heading “Some good resources…” you will find “the online auction”.
The items for auction will begin appearing no sooner than December 20th 2012. Items will remain on auction until the date indicated by the auction company. Potential buyers can access the site 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

CALL TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the Independent School District 279 School Board was held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in the Board Room at the Educational Service Center. Chairperson Henke called the meeting to order at 8:17 PM.
ROLL CALL
The following members were present: Board members Laura Cottington, Kim Green, Dean Henke, Jim Burgett, Teresa Lunt and Superintendent Dr. Kate Maguire. Board member Tammie Epley was absent.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA
Motion by Chairperson Dean Henke, seconded by Director Laura Cottington, to accept the printed agenda. The motion carried unanimously.
AUDIENCE OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS THE SCHOOL BOARD
Collette Guyott-Hempel addressed the board with suggestions in regards to budget cuts for fiscal year 2014.
SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT
SCHOOL BOARD REPORTS
11/20/12 Work Session Report: The board discussed and then provided direction on the general operating/transportation budget for the 2013-14 school year. The board reviewed the 2013-14 budget planning timeline that includes a communication plan with opportunities to gather perspectives from stakeholders, a review of the state and the district’s financial forecast, and the development of planned budget adjustments. The board is scheduled to act on the fiscal year 2014 budget adjustments at the regular meeting on March 5, 2012.
PRESENTATION: FISCAL YEAR 2012 AUDIT REPORT
CONSENT AGENDA
The consent agenda consists of minutes of the special meeting held on November 13, 2012, financial reports, personnel and business matters. The motion carried unanimously.
ACCEPT FY 2012 AUDIT REPORT AND STUDENT ACTIVITY REPORT
Motion by Chairperson Dean Henke, seconded by Director Laura Cottington, to accept FY 2012 Audit Report and Student Activity Report. The motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Chairperson Dean Henke, seconded by Director Kim Green, to approve the Gifts to the District totaling $83,513.42. The motion carried unanimously.
