Services for Marvin L. “Buddy” Kilian, 78, of St. Michael were A Mass of Christian Burial for Marvin L. “Buddy” Kilian were Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.

Casket bearers were Brian Kilian, Brad Kilian, Maurice “Ditto” Kilian, Paul “Archie” Kilian, Jacob “Jack” Kilian and James “Jim” Kilian.

Honorary pallbearers were Robert “Bob” “Daisy” Kilian, Roger Loftman, Tim Byland and Riley Byland

Interment was Monday, Dec. 3, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Mr. Kilian died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at the Veteran’s Home in South Minneapolis after a long illness.

For many years, he owned and operated M.L. Bud Kilian Electric. He was a member of IBEW Local 292, the Lions Club, the American Legion, and the Church of St. Michael.

Mr. Kilian is survived by his loving wife, Anne; children, Brian (Leilani) Kilian of Roberts, Wis., Brad (Carla) Kilian of Minnetonka, Angie (Tim) Byland and Valerie Kilian all of Maple Grove; grandchildren, Riley and Anna, Catarina and Brendan, and Hailey; brothers and sisters, Maurice “Ditto” (Coleen) Kilian, Paul “Archie” (Audrey) Kilian, Shirley (Roger) Loftman, Robert “Bob” “Daisy” (Charlotte) Kilian, Jacob “Jack” (Terry) Kilian, James “Jim” (Kristy) Kilian and Cindy Kilian; many other relatives and friends.

Preceeded in death by his parents: Leon and Stella Kilian.
