Could your car or furnace one day run on clean fuel made with sunshine, wastewater and carbon dioxide?
Dr. Jane Davidson, director of the solar energy laboratory at the University of Minnesota will discuss innovations in fueling the future at the next Young Scientist Roundtable Monday, Dec. 17.
Davidson’s research focuses on developing solar applications to find new ways to solve problems like heating water, cooling buildings and more.
The roundtable is free and open to the public. The main presentation is at 7 p.m. A “Teen Roundtable,” including a question-and-answer session, is 8:10-8:40 p.m.
The roundtable is coordinated by the Wayzata School District and is a partnership of many Twin Cities districts, including Anoka-Hennepin, Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins, Lakeville, Minnetonka, Mound Westonka, Osseo and Orono.
