Editor’s Note: The following represents some but not nearly all of the incidents responded by Rogers Police from Nov. 19 through 26.

Monday, Nov. 19

Burglary of business reported at 19000 block of Linden Dr. Only known items stolen were video surveillance tape. Access was gained through forced entry of North service door.

Frank Gardner, 39, was cited for no proof of insurance at Brockton Lane and County Rd. 81.

Eric John Swenson, 49, was arrested for DWI second-degree refusal at County Rd. 81 and Brockton Lane.

Eric Damone Conerly, 34, was cited for no driver’s license and no insurance at Brockton Lane and South Diamond Lake Road.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

Dispatch advised of a check welfare at Rogers Theatre. The caller stated that a mother had left her two children in a movie and left to go watch another movie. Upon arrival, the children and mother were back in contact with each other. Children were left alone to watch Wreck it Ralph while the Mom went to watch Twlight by herself. Caller became concerned when the children started to wander around the theatre by themselves. Manager would not call the police, said it was not their concern. Caller was very upset that theatre had no concern over the welfare of the children. Children were 4 and 6. Mother told caller she should have minded her own business. Report sent to Sherburne County Social Services.

Dispatch advised of a no-pay for $106 of gas at SuperAmerica. The license plate given was later determined to have been stolen from an employee’s vehicle at Cub Foods.

Dispatch advised of a theft of diesel at Room & Board, 20000 block of South Diamond Lake Rd. The caller stated that the suspect was ramming his semi-truck attempting to flee the scene. The caller then stated the suspect fled on foot. Officers subsequently apprehended the suspect nearby. Arrested was Robert Andrew Lynch, 40.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

Brittney Kerstin Collins, 25, was cited for driving after suspension and speeding at I-94 and Brockton Lane.

Officer responded to McQuay Services, 11760 Justen Circle, for a theft report. The reporting party indicated that copper was stolen from a large water cooling unit and the machine was damaged in the process. The incident is being investigated.

Property damage crash involving six vehicles at Interstate 94. One vehicle left the scene before police arrival. State accident report completed. A white van left the scene before police arrival.

Thursday, Nov. 22

Christine Lynne Dunne, 39, was arrested for fourth-degree DWI at I-94 and Main Street.

Officer Assist on Felony Warrant pickup at 14000 block of Oakview Lane in Dayton. Numerous copper items in vehicles and in residence from industrial type copper and fittings. Crack pipes and other paraphernalia on site. Arrested was Travis John Martin, 30.

Friday, Nov. 23

The Rogers Police Department received a complaint about a male passed out in his vehicle in the Cabela’s Parking Lot. The male party was described to be in a white jeep on the east side of the lot. The driver was located by Medina Police Department. The driver smelled of an alcoholic substance. The driver, Mitchell Charles Mittelstaedt, 21, was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

Officer was dispatched to Auto Parts Plus for a suspicious gas odor in the building. Officer responded, evacuated building, and checked the area. Detected odor inside of building and propped door open. Checked on 32 year old female party that was feeling ill from the odor; person was feeling better after getting fresh air. She was checked on by North paramedics; transport was not required. Rogers Fire arrived to inspect the building and find source of the odor. The odor was believed to have been caused by a man from a business next door, who was spraying polyurethane on gas fireplace units.

Suspect(s) broke out the rear passenger door glass to gain access to the door at 21600 block of South Diamond Lake Rd. Removing a new in the box TV w/o permission. Occurred between 0045 hours and 1230 hours. Total loss – $215. No suspect leads at this point.

Officer was dispatched to a Rogers residence for a theft report. The 52 year old male victim reported that someone has been using his identity to open credit accounts and has made purchases totaling over $10,000. An identity theft report will be filed for the victim.

Paul Joseph Brown, 26, was cited for no proof of insurance at Dowling Avenue and I-94.

Saturday, Nov. 24

Officer received information from a motorist that there was a large backhoe that had flipped over next to the road on County Rd. 116 near Fletcher. Officer responded and found that a man had been backing up a trailer that held the backhoe, when the machine slid off and tipped over in the plowed field on the side of the road. No one was inside the backhoe when it tipped. The machine was not secured to the trailer when the man was backing the trailer. A private tow was called to upright the backhoe.

Linda Jean Anderson, 48, was arrested at Rogers Super 8 for a warrant and transported to Hennepin County Jail.

Joseph John Mulford, 18, was cited for expired driver’s license at 20200 block of Rogers Drive.

Sunday, Nov. 25

Dispatch advised of a no-pay at SuperAmerica gas station. The suspect pumped $39.60 and left without paying. Based on video footage, it could possibly have been an oversight on the suspect’s part. Possible suspect information from credit card transaction for other items, but not the gas. Suspect contacted and thought his wife paid for the gas and will call and pay for the gas.
