Hockey: Rogers girls beat Bluejackets 3-0 in tournament

The Rogers Royals skated past the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets 3-0 in the first round of the New Prague Thanksgiving Tournament Friday.
The Royals (1-2-1) were to face Armstrong-Cooper for the trophy at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Kaitlin Braiedy, Mackenzie Perna and Delaney Peluf scored the goals. Perna and Emily Antony each made two assists and Braiedy made one assist.
Shots were even at 36 each, with Michelle Klimstra making 36 saves for the shutout and win.
In earlier action -Grace broke open a scoreless game with three goals in the final period and defeated the Rogers Royals 3-0 Tuesday evening, Nov. 20, in Rogers.
Abby Huber broke up the shutout with a power play goal for the Eagles (1-1-1) and Allison Parnell knocked in two more goals.
Michelle Klimstra made 40 saves for Rogers and Totino-Grace outshot the Royals 43-14. Logan Knip was in goal for the shutout.
