Osseo ninth-grader Mary Whiting earned all-state honors at the state swimming and diving meet at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center last Saturday.
Whiting finished sixth in the 100 freestyle championship heat in a time of 52.15 to garner all-state honor. She qualified for the finals with the seventh best time and moved up a spot in the final. She also swam 14th in the 50 freestyle.
Both Osseo relays took 22nd place. Whiting teamed up with ninth graders Natalie Kampa and Katelyn Strauss and eighth grader Emily Houle on the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay.
