Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the City of Osseo from Nov. 1 through Nov. 14, 2012.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 25-year-old Minneapolis man on Nov. 2 for driving after revocation while working a high visibility DWI traffic enforcement detail. The male was released with a citation and his vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 24-year-old female from Maple Lake on a Department of Corrections Warrant on Nov. 7. She was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested an 18-year-old Minneapolis man on Nov. 10 for underage consumption of alcohol. He was released with a citation to a sober adult.

Osseo Police arrested a 16-year-old juvenile female on the 300 block of Central Ave. on Nov. 14 for theft. She was released to a parent and the case has been submitted to Juvenile Court for charges.

Incidents:

A theft of aluminum valued at $3,500 was reported to Osseo Police on Nov. 1 on the 400 block of County Road 81. There are no suspects. The case is under investigation.

Police responded to an intrusion alarm on the 600 block of Central Ave. on Nov. 1. The building was secure and the alarm was false.

Police responded to an unwanted intoxicated person on the 200 block of County Road 81 on Nov. 4. The subject was transported home and released to a sober person. There are no charges pending.

Police responded to a traffic altercation on the 8600 block of Jefferson Hwy. on Nov. 5. Statements were obtained from both drives and the case is under review by the City Attorney.

An assault was reported on Nov. 6 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. The case has been submitted to the City Attorney for review.

A theft of cell phone was reported stolen from the Osseo High School on Nov. 7. The phone was taken from a pocket of a backpack. There are no suspects and the case has been forwarded to the school resource officer for investigation.

A theft of wallet was reported from the Osseo High School on Nov. 7. There suspect used a debit card from the wallet at a business that has video surveillance. The case is currently under investigation to identify the suspect.

Osseo Police responded to an unwanted person that would not leave a residence on the 100 block of Third Ave. N.W. on Nov. 10. The party was removed by police. There are no charges pending.

A motor vehicle theft was reported on the 300 block of County Road 81 on Nov. 11. The vehicle has been entered into a nationwide data base. There are no suspects.

A possible attempted burglary was reported on Nov. 13 on the 200 block of Broadway Street E. The homeowner returned home and discovered an unsecured door. Nothing appears to be missing.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 17-year-old male with a possible heard injury on the football field at the Osseo High School on Nov. 2. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 33-year-old male having a possible heart attack on the 100 block of Broadway Street E. on Nov. 7. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 42-year-old male having a diabetic and blood pressure issues on the 500 block of Second St. S.E. on Nov. 7. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 91-year-old female having trouble breathing on the 600 block of Central Ave. on Nov. 7. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 59-year-old male having a possible heart attack on the 200 block of Third Ave. S.E. on Nov. 8. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 83-year-old female feeling ill on the 600 block of Central Ave. on Nov. 10. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 30-year-old male having a possible heart attack on the 300 block of Sixth Ave. S.E. on Nov. 11. He was monitored by paramedics but refused transport to the hospital.

Osseo Police responded to an 81-year-old female feeling dizzy and ill on Nov. 13 on the 300 block of First Ave. N.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.
