Grief Support Group
NOV. 26 — The Grief Support Group: Rebuilding Hope, sponsored by Ridgeview Medical Center will meet Monday, Nov. 26, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Ridgeview Medical Center. This support group is for those experiencing grief or anticipating a loss of someone they care about. It provides an on-going opportunity to gather helpful information, share experiences, be supported and support others in a similar situation. For more information, call 952-442-2191, Ext. 6190. Loretto Tree Decorating
NOV. 27 — The city of Loretto is asking residents to volunteer for decorating the city’s Holiday Tree at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27. The tree again will be placed on the corner of West Railway Street and North Medina Street (County Road 19). Supplies will be on hand to help with stringing the lights.

NOV. 29 — The Wright County Wellness on Wheels (WOW) van will stop at BankWest in Rockford from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29. WOW services include adult and child immunizations; health screening; blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol checks by appointment; pregnancy, health and wellness checks and child car seat checks by appointment. NOV. 30 — Burgers and More nights are returning to Hamel Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5903, 19020 Hamel Road in Plymouth. The next event will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30. Hosts will be the Hamel VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Everyone is invited to attend.

Holiday Book and Bake Sale
DEC. 3 TO 8 — The Rockford Library (8220 Cedar St. in downtown Rockford) is hosting a Holiday Book and Bake Sale from Dec. 3 through 8 during library hours. The friends of the Rockford Library saved the best Holiday books of the year for this Sale. You can sign up to donate baked goods to the fundraiser this year, or come and enjoy what others have baked.

Holiday Hope, Holiday Healing Event
DEC. 6 — Community members are invited to attend Ridgeview’s annual Holiday Hope, Holiday Healing Event and Tree Lighting Ceremony. Ridgeview Hospice hosts this event each year to support people who are grieving, or experiencing any type of loss, find ways to experience holidays when a love one is no longer present. This event will be Thursday, Dec. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ridgeview Community Auditorium. Registration is not required. For more information call 952-442-6010.
