DWIs

Corcoran Police reported a DWI arrest Sunday, Nov. 18 at 4:43 p.m. at County Rd. 19 and County Rd. 30. Arrested was Charles Jeffrey Laberge, 54, of Rogers for Gross Misd Refusal.

Property Damage

The department reported a property damage auto crash Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 5:47 p.m. in the area of County Rd. 101 and County Rd. 30. The reporting party advised they struck a deer with their vehicle. No injuries were reported.

The department reported a property damage auto crash Sunday, Nov. 18 at 4:41 p.m. in the area of County Rd. 19 and County Rd. 30. Both vehicles were traveling south bound on County Rd. 19. Vehicle #2 struck Vehicle #1 from behind. A minor injury to driver of Vehicle #1 was reported. Driver of Vehicle #2 was arrested for DWI.

Theft

Theft of chainsaws was reported Nov. 12 at 2:02 p.m. in the 210XX block of Larkin Rd. The reporting party stated that sometime over the last 2-3 weeks an unknown person(s) entered their unlocked garage and took two chainsaws. There are no identifiable suspects at this time. The case has been forwarded to Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.

Theft of funds was reported Thursday, Nov. 15 at 3:17 p.m. in the 195XX block of County Rd. 30. The reporting party stated someone called them to say they won $19 million. The reporting party hung-up the phone when the caller tried to get them to send a money order to get the $19 million.

Theft of vehicle was reported Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1:35 p.m. in the 75XX block of Commerce St. The business reported that a vehicle was missing from their property. After further review, it appears the vehicle was driven off the lot early this morning. The vehicle has been signed and entered as a stolen vehicle.

Medicals

The department responded to a medical emergency Thursday, Nov. 15 at 1:17 p.m. in the 99XX block of Chisholm Tr. A 66 year old female has passed out several times. The patient was transported to North Memorial Medical Center by North Ambulance.

The department responded to a medical emergency Friday, Nov. 16 at 6:09 p.m. in the 97XX block of County Rd. 101. A female was passed out in the parking lot. The reporting party advised they were getting the information second-hand. They called back to say the female’s friend will take them to the hospital. Officers were cancelled.

The department responded to a medical emergency Saturday, Nov. 17 at 9:29 p.m. in the 193XX block of Mystique Dr. A male was having difficulty breathing. North Paramedics checked the patient and Officers were cancelled.

Miscellaneous

The department responded to a report of a domestic on Monday, Nov. 12 at 9:16 p.m. in the 202XX block of Hackamore Rd. The reporting party advised their ex-fiancé is at the residence and they are arguing over property. Officers advised the parties to separate.

The department responded to a report of a welfare check on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 12:05 p.m. The reporting party stated there was a male sleeping in a vehicle and has been there for quite some time. Officers checked and the male was just taking a break from work. Officer advised the male to move along.

The department responded to a report of suspicious activity on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 9:17 p.m. in the 202XX block of Hackamore Rd. The reporting party stated they think someone may have been in their house because they found the deadbolt unlocked. Nothing was taken from the house.

The department responded to a report of found property on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 9:46 a.m. in the 192XX block of County Rd. 10. The reporting party stated there was a small shot gun in the ditch by their driveway. Officers responded and took the shotgun for safekeeping.

The department responded to a report of a grass fire on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 2:26 p.m. in the 101XX block of Bechtold Rd. The reporting party advised there is a grass fire in their back yard, approximately 30 feet from a camper and a car. Hanover Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire.
