Public Hearing Notice
Zoning Ordinance Amendment
Notice is hereby given that the Corcoran Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at City Hall, 8200 County Road 116, on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 7:00 pm or as soon as the item may be heard, to consider a request by the City of Corcoran for an amendment to Section 1070.020 of the Zoning Ordinance regarding conditional use permit amendments. The amendment would allow conditional use permit amendments to be processed administratively rather than through the public hearing process as currently required.
All persons wishing to speak on the item will be heard. Comments may be submitted in writing prior to the hearing.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED TOTAL BUDGET AND PROPERTY TAXES
The Corcoran City Council will hold a public hearing on its 2013 City Budget and on the amount of Property Taxes it is proposing to collect to pay for the costs of services the city will provide in 2013.
SPENDING: The total budget figures below compare the City’s 2012 total budget with the amount the City proposes to spend in 2013.
The 2013 Figures are Estimates
2012 Total Budget: $3,152,256
Proposed 2013 Budget: $3,553,877
Change from 2012 to 2013: $401,621
TAXES: The property tax amounts below compare that portion of the current budget levied in property taxes in the City of Corcoran for 2012 with the property taxes the City of Corcoran proposes to collect in 2013.
2012 Property Taxes: $2,781,119
Proposed 2013 Property Taxes: $2,934,739
Change from 2012 to 2013: $153,620
LOCAL TAX RATE COMPARISON: The following compares the city’s current local tax rate, the city’s tax for 2013 if no tax levy increase is adopted, and the city’s proposed tax rate for 2013.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ROGERS CITY CODE
BY AMENDING SECTION 125-199 RELATING TO THE
AMENDMENTS TO THE L-I, LIMITED INDUSTRIAL

On the 13th day of November, 2012 the Rogers City Council passed Ordinance No. 2012-12, An Ordinance Amending the Rogers City Code By Amending Section 125-199 Relating to the Amendments to the L-I, Limited Industrial Zoning District.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ROGERS CITY CODE BY AMENDING
SECTION 113-8 RELATING TO SIGN OVERLAY DISTRICTS
TO INCLUDE THE B-3 GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
AND B-C BUSINESS CAMPUS DISTRICT
WITHIN THE RB REGIONAL BUSINESS SIGN OVERLAY DISTRICT.
On the 13th day of November, 2012 the Rogers City Council passed Ordinance No. 2012-13, An Ordinance Amending the Rogers City Code By Amending Section 113-8 Relating to Sign Overlay Districts to Include the B-3 General Business District and B-C Business Campus District Within the RB Regional Business Sign Overlay District.

TO REDEFINE THE BOUNDARY OF THE NORTH SIDE COMMERCIAL SUBDISTRICT AS EXTENDING NORTH TO THE CITY LIMITS.
On the 13th day of November, 2012 the Rogers City Council passed Ordinance No. 2012-14, An Ordinance Amending the Rogers City Code By Amending Section 125-225 Relating to the Highway Corridor Overlay District (HCO) to Redefine the Boundary of the North Side Commercial Subdistrict as Extending North to the City Limits.

NOTICE: OPEN WATER ON FOSTER LAKE
In the continuation efforts to improve the lake quality and fish population, Foster Lake Association has installed an aeration system in a small area of the lake. During the winter, the open water and thin ice around it will be marked with DNR Thin Ice signs. Please use caution.
