Corcoran Police reported a DWI arrest Thursday, Nov. 8 at 10:45 p.m. at County Rd. 116 and County Rd. 30. Arrested was Corey Thomas Haley, 33, of Bloomington for 3rd Degree Gross Misd DWI with a .12 BAC.
The department reported a property damage auto crash Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7:10 a.m. in the area of County Rd. 116 and County Rd. 30. Both vehicles were southbound on County Rd. 116, approaching County Rd. 30. The vehicles had just passed through the intersection when Vehicle #2 struck Vehicle #1 in the rear. Both drivers got out and checked the damage. The driver of Vehicle #2 then left the scene without leaving their name or insurance information.
The department reported a property damage auto crash Thursday, Nov. 8 at 6:35 a.m. in the area of 212XX County Rd. 50. A deer ran out in front of a vehicle and the vehicle collided with the deer. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The department reported a personal injury auto crash Thursday, Nov. 8 at 5:25 p.m. in the area of Highway 55 and County Rd. 19. Vehicle #1 was stopped in traffic; Vehicle #2 was slowing to a stop behind Vehicle #1 when Vehicle #3 struck the rear of Vehicle #2 pushing it into Vehicle #1. All three vehicles were towed from the accident scene. Three people were transported to the hospital.
Theft of funds was reported Monday, Nov. 5 at 1:06 p.m. in the 91XX block of Schutte Lane. An unknown party attempted to transfer $38,400 from a home equity line of credit. The bank contacted the reporting party to verify the transfer. The transfer was not completed; there is no loss at this time.
Theft of items was reported Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 10:53 p.m. in the 76XX block of County Rd. 116. The reporting party stated an unknown person(s) had entered their vehicle when they went into the business and removed a large duffle bag which contained their wallet and other miscellaneous items.
The department responded to a medical emergency Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 12:40 a.m. in the 78XX block of Maple Hill Rd. A 19 year old female has possibly overdosed. Officers arrived on scene and determined the female was fine. The female had not overdosed.
The department responded to a medical emergency Friday, Nov. 9 at 12:15 a.m. in the 78XX block of Maple Hill Rd. A 71 year old male was passed out. The patient was transported to North Memorial Medical Center by North Ambulance.
The department responded to a report of a 911 hang-up call on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 3:12 p.m. in the 238XX block of Pioneer Tr. The Officer arrived on scene and found the homeowner outside. It appeared their dogs had knocked the phone off the cradle. All was okay.
The department responded to a report of suspicious activity on Friday, Nov. 9 at 4:06 a.m. in the 75XX block of County Rd. 116. The reporting party advised there are lights on at the business and they don’t recall ever seeing lights on at this time. The Officer checked the business and all was secure.
