Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the City of Osseo from Oct. 18 through Oct. 31, 2012.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 34-year-old Osseo man on the 100 block of Central Ave. on Oct. 18 for a misdemeanor Hennepin County Warrant. He posted bail and was released with a court date.

Osseo Police conducted a traffic stop on County Road 81 and arrested a 31-year-old Breckenridge man, and a 25-year-old Albany man. One of the parties fled from the vehicle when the officer was attempting to stop it but was later apprehend by a Sheriff’s K9 unit. Both males were booked at the Hennepin County Jail for outstanding warrants.

Osseo Police arrested a 26-year-old Maple Grove man on Oct. 25 for failing to register as a predatory offender after Osseo Police observed the male driving though Osseo. He was taken into custody at his Maple Grove home without incident and booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested a 20-year-old Brooklyn Park man on Oct. 28 during a traffic stop on County Road 81 for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a citation and released.

Incidents:

Osseo Police took a vandalism report at Osseo Senior High School on Oct. 20. A utility shed and other property was spray painted. There are no suspects but the case has been forwarded to the School Liaison Detective.

Osseo Police responded to a narcotics complaint on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. on Oct. 20. Police identified parties related to the incident but no narcotics were found. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to an audible intrusion alarm at a closed business on the 8700 block of Jefferson Hwy. on Oct. 20. Police found an unsecured door to the business. An interior and exterior search of the building was done and no problems were found. A key holder was notified to lock the building. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to a narcotics compliant on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive on Oct. 23. A suspect was identified and interviewed. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police took a damage to property report on the 500 block of Second St. S.E. on Oct. 26. The victim reported that somebody had scratched her car but was unsure if it happened in Osseo or at her residence in Maple Grove. Photos were taken. There are no suspects.

Osseo Police responded to a report of people being loud inside of an apartment on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive on Oct. 27. Police contacted the resident and they agreed to be quiet. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to a hold up alarm at a business on the 100 block of Central Avenue on Oct. 30. The alarm was accidentally triggered by an employee. No problems were found.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a report of an 85-year-old female that was unconscious on Oct. 18 on the 600 block of Third St. S.E. Upon arrival the patient was alert and conscious declined medical assistance.

Osseo Police responded to a male having a possible stroke on Oct. 18 on the 100 block of Regan Lane on Oct. 18. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a 58-year-old male having trouble breathing on Oct. 19 on the 200 block of Third Ave. S.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a 58-year-old male having trouble breathing on Oct. 20 on the 200 block of Third Ave. S.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of an 82-year-old female that was feeling dizzy. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a 92-year-old female having a possible stroke on the 500 block of Second St. S.E. on Oct. 23. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 82-year-old female that had fallen down on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a person having a possible heart attack on the 600 block of North Oaks Drove on Oct. 26. The patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 200 block of Third Ave. S.E. on Oct. 28 for a 58-year-old male having trouble breathing. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 50 block of Sixth St. N.E. on Oct. 30 for an 85-year-old female feeling dizzy. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 100 block of Third Ave. S.E. for a 63-year-old female that had fallen and hit her head on Oct. 30. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident at County Road 81 and Broadway Street West on Oct. 29. Both vehicles were still drivable and the drivers exchanged information. A state accident report was filed. There are no charges pending.
