One woman is dead after a car crash involving three cars Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Maple Grove Police Capt. Keith Terlinden said police were called to a personal injury auto crash at the intersection of Bass Lake Road and County Road 101 in Maple Grove at about 5:30 p.m.
“When officers arrived they found a deceased driver of one of the vehicles,” he said.
The victim was identified as Tyan Necole Taylor, 32, of Brooklyn Park. The manner of death was ruled as an accident by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, and ruled the cause of death as blunt force head and neck injury.
No other injuries were reported.
“It was undetermined if a seatbelt was worn,” Capt. Terlinden said of the victim. “We don’t believe alcohol was involved.”
Maple Grove Police investigated and were assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol.
