The School Board of Anoka-Hennepin Independent School District No. 11 held a work session meeting on Monday, October 8, 2012, at the Educational Service Center, Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
Chair Heidemann called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting then moved into the work session portion of the agenda: an Update on the New Child Nutrition Law and Rules, Q Comp, Administrative Response to Community Issues and Initiatives (Playing Up Policy, Andover Oak View pool, Coon Rapids Initiative and the Brooklyn Bridge Alliance), and the Open Meeting Law.
Chair Tom Heidemann recessed the meeting at 8:05 p.m. The meeting reconvened in closed session at 8:10 p.m. to discuss matters requiring data privacy.
Marci Anderson moved and Mike Sullivan seconded the motion to expel student number one through the end of the 2012-2013 school year, the student being allowed to return under probation on March 18, 2013. Marci Anderson called the roll. The following voted in favor of the motion: Tom Heidemann, Marci Anderson, Mike Sullivan, and Jeff Simon. There being four votes for and no votes against the motion, the motion passed.

Marci Anderson called the roll. The following voted in favor of the motion: Tom Heidemann, Marci Anderson, Mike Sullivan, and Jeff Simon. There being four votes for and no votes against the motion, the motion passed.
Tom Heidemann moved and Jeff Simon seconded the motion to expel student number six through the end of the 2012-2013 school year, the student being allowed to return under probation on December 4, 2012. Marci Anderson called the roll. The following voted in favor of the motion: Tom Heidemann, Marci Anderson, Mike Sullivan, and Jeff Simon. There being four votes for and no votes against the motion, the motion passed.
The meeting reconvened in open session at 9:44 p.m.
Marci Anderson moved and Mike Sullivan seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed.
