The proclamation recognizes importance of the manufacturing industry and its workers on communities. For the last several years, the Rockford City Council and staff have invited members of the manufacturing community to join them in a ceremony with individual recognition, breakfast and the opportunity for an inside look at one of the local companies.

This year, the event hast hosted by Ashock Patel of Center Manufacturing, which specializes in health products.
