Arrests & Citations

On Friday, Oct. 12, at 8:22 p.m. at County Rd. 101 and Prairie Creek Dr., a 17-year old male from Plymouth was arrested for DWI. A 17-year old passenger, also of Plymouth, was cited for Minor Consumption of Alcohol.

Other

On Monday, Oct. 8, at 6:06 a.m. on the 100 block of Summit Ave., Loretto, a suspicious unoccupied vehicle was found running. It was found to have been taken from the City of Buffalo.

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 8:05 a.m. on Medina St., Loretto, there was a report of thick smoke in the area of the ball fields. I was determined to be coming for a wood burning stove at a business on St. John St., and not a concern.

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 8:44 a.m. on the 1300 block of Maplewood Dr., there was a report of shots being heard. Officer advised the reporting party that there is waterfowl hunting in the area and this was what she probably heard.

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 1:35 p.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Dr., there was a gas drive-off of $31.50 reported. Officer contacted the registered owner of the vehicle, who stated he used his credit card. He added that he would return to pay in amount was not charged to his account.

On Friday, Oct. 12, at 6:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Highway 55, there was a report of a gas spill in the parking lot from a pump not shutting off.  The Hamel Fire Department arrives and applied “floor dry” to absorb the spill.

On Friday, Oct. 12, at 10:07 p.m. on the 3200 block of Pine Oak Rd., there was a report of a large grass fire. The Hamel Fire Department extinguished the fire.

On Sunday, Oct. 14, at 8:34 p.m. on the 200 block of Meadow Lane, a homeowner advised that she’d received two “doorbell ditches”.  The homeowner did not see anyone, but heard laughter. The call was cancelled as she discovered Halloween items left by a neighbor.
