DWIs

Corcoran Police reported a DWI arrest Friday, Oct. 19 at 2:21 a.m. at 232XX Highway 55. Arrested was Timothy John Paulson, 45, of Delano for probable cause of 4th Degree Misd DWI, pending blood test results.

Arrests

Corcoran Police reported a DL violation arrest Sunday, Oct. 21 at 4:03 p.m. at County Rd. 101 and Stieg Rd. Arrested was Antonio De Jesus Perea Hernandez, 24, of Brooklyn Park for driving without a valid MN driver’s license.

Corcoran Police reported a DL violation arrest Sunday, Oct. 21 at 5:34 p.m. at County Rd. 30 and County Rd. 116. Arrested was Robert Joseph Sawatzke, 48, of Rockford for violation of limited driver’s license and no proof of insurance.

Property damage

The department reported a property damage incident Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 4:21 p.m. in the area of 205XX block of Rush Meadow La. The reporting party advised they were missing some siding on the south side of their house. Unsure how the damage occurred. The Officer took a report and photos of the damage. The reporting party later called back to say they believe the damage was caused by a broken piece from their lawn mower.

The department reported a property damage auto crash Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 5:34 p.m. in the area of County Rd. 19 and Oakdale Dr. Both vehicles were northbound on County Rd. 19 near Oakdale Dr. when the driver of Vehicle #1 tried to pass Vehicle #2, after Vehicle #2 had passed them and then slowed down. While they were passing in a no-passing zone, the speeds had gotten up to 70 mph when the drivers noticed oncoming traffic. As the passing driver tried to get back into the correct lane, the vehicles made contact with each other.

The department reported a personal injury incident Thursday, Oct. 18 at 6:08 p.m. in the area of 89XX County Rd. 101. Officers were dispatched to a driving complaint where the suspect vehicle had run another vehicle off the road. Officers then reported the suspect vehicle had rolled over. The driver was removed from the vehicle and taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

The department reported a property damage auto crash Friday, Oct. 19 at 5:05 a.m. in the area of County Rd. 30 and Bechtold Rd. The driver of Vehicle #1 was eastbound on County Rd. 30 in the area of Bechtold Rd. when a deer crossed the road from north to south in front of the vehicle. The vehicle struck the deer.

Theft

Theft of items was reported Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 6:04 a.m. in the 72XX block of County Rd. 116. The reporting party advised unknown suspect(s) had taken the registration and proof of insurance as well as a power converter from their work vehicle. The suspects were apprehended by Brooklyn Park Police and charges are pending.

Theft of a laptop was reported Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 6:20 a.m. in the 204XX block of Larkin Rd. The reporting party advised unknown suspect(s) had taken a laptop from their locked vehicle. The suspect(s) had broken the driver’s side rear window to gain entry into the vehicle. The suspects were apprehended by Brooklyn Park Police and charges are pending.

Theft of items was reported Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 6:49 a.m. in the 205XX block of Larkin Rd. The reporting party advised unknown suspect(s) had taken items from their unlocked vehicle and strewn them along the road. They were missing two address books and a gym bag. The suspects were apprehended by Brooklyn Park Police and charges are pending.

Theft of personal papers was reported Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 6:56 a.m. in the 214XX block of Larkin Rd. The reporting party advised unknown suspect(s) had entered their unlocked vehicle, rummaged through it and took some personal receipts. The suspects were apprehended by Brooklyn Park Police and charges are pending.

Theft of items was reported Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 7:06 a.m. in the 213XX block of Larkin Rd. The reporting party advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered their unlocked vehicles and had taken a briefcase, a key fob and some personal papers. The suspects were apprehended by Brooklyn Park Police and charges are pending.

Theft of items was reported Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 7:33 a.m. in the 207XX block of Larkin Rd. The reporting party advised unknown suspect(s) had entered their unlocked work vehicle and took a cordless drill, a refrigeration unit, change, remote control for the vehicle, a cell phone and other miscellaneous items. The suspects were apprehended by Brooklyn Park Police and charges are pending.

Theft of items was reported Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 1:06 p.m. in the 204XX block of Larkin Rd. The reporting party advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered their unlocked vehicle and had taken a black case and a pool cue worth $2,500. The suspects were apprehended by Brooklyn Park Police and charges are pending.

Theft of a horse was reported Thursday, Oct. 18 at 5:10 p.m. in the 101XX block of Bechtold Rd. The reporting party advised they had a missing horse and they thought it was taken. The reporting party called back later to advise the horse has been located.

Theft of items was reported Saturday, Oct. 20 at 1:58 a.m. in the 101XX block of County Rd. 19. The reporting party stated they were missing an X-box, several X-box games, a Wii, a cell phone, an iPod and an iTouch. The case has been forwarded to Hennepin County Sheriff’s Department for investigation.

Medicals

The department responded to a medical emergency Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 11:39 a.m. in the 98XX block of Chisholm Tr. A 61 year old female had fallen down a flight of stairs. The patient was transported to North Memorial Medical Center by North Ambulance.

The department responded to a medical emergency Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 2:02 p.m. in the 78XX block of Maple Hill Rd. A 48 year old male was having a mental health issue. The Officers arrived to find the male was fine. No further assistance was needed by the Police.

The department responded to a medical emergency Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 4:09 p.m. in the 213XX block of County Rd. 117. A 26 year old male was having an allergic reaction to hot sauce. The Officers arrived on scene and the male appeared fine. He refused further medical attention at that time.

The department responded to a medical emergency Friday, Oct. 19 at 11:55 a.m. in the 78XX block of Maple Hill Rd. A 94 year old female had fallen and needed assistance getting up. Officers arrived and helped the patient.

The department responded to a medical emergency Saturday, Oct. 20 at 3:47 p.m. in the 73XX block of Rolling Hills Rd. A 48 year old male was intoxicated and couldn’t stand up. The patient was transported to Methodist Hospital by North Ambulance.

Miscellaneous

The department responded to a report of suspicious activity on Monday, Oct. 15 at 11:44 p.m. in the 213XX block of Meadow Lane. The reporting party advised someone was trying to break into their vehicle approximately 20 minutes ago. The alarm went off and the vehicle’s door was open. The reporting party advised nothing was missing. The Officer checked the area and was unable to locate the suspicious person(s).

The department responded to a report of a theft from auto on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 6:45 a.m. in the 205XX block of Larkin Rd. The reporting party advised unknown suspect(s) had gone through their vehicle. Nothing was missing. The suspects were apprehended by Brooklyn Park Police and charges are pending.

The department responded to a report of shots heard on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 4:04 p.m. in the 105XX block of County Rd. 116. The reporting party reported they could see a resident 100 yards away shooting a gun. Officers arrived to find the resident was sighting in a rifle. Officers advised the resident of the city’s firearm ordinance.

The department responded to a report of a disturbance on Friday, Oct. 19 at 8:08 p.m. in the 72XX block of Jubert Lane. The reporting party advised their doorbell rang and they could hear kids outside. They went to answer the door and the kids were hiding in the field and swearing at them. Officers were unable to locate the kids in question.

The department responded to a report of a civil issue on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 8:12 p.m. in the 202XX block of Hackamore Rd. The reporting party advised their ex is there to get their things and wants to take their son. The reporting party advised they wanted to keep their son for the night. Officers arrived and advised this was a civil issue. The parties agreed to leave the son with the reporting party for the night and the ex would come back on Monday to pick up the son.
