NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a City Election in the City of Champlin, County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at which time the polls will be open from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The following offices will be elected: ONE MAYOR for a two-year term from all Wards. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING DAYTON CITY CODE
REGARDING SWIMMING POOLS
The above-referenced Ordinance amends the Dayton City Code by repealing City Code Section 905 regarding swimming pools and replacing it with City Code Section 1001.14, subd. 11, which reduced the required fence height to 4 feet and recodified the section. This summary is adopted pursuant to Minn. Stat. §412.191, Subd. 4.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST OF ELECTRONIC VOTING SYSTEM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Accuracy Test of the electronic voting system to be used for the November 6, 2012 General Election will be held at the Champlin Municipal Center, 11955 Champlin Drive, on Thursday, November 1st at 9 a.m. The test shall be observed by at least two judges who shall not be of the same political party, and shall be open to representatives of political parties, candidates, press and the general public. The test shall be conducted in accordance with Minnesota Statute 206.83.

STATE OF MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SIX-MONTH (180 DAYS) MORATORIUM WITHIN THE CITY OF CHAMPLIN ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ELECTRONIC MESSAGE CENTER SIGNS AS DEFINED IN SECTION 118-3 OF THE CITY CODE
WHEREAS, the City Council established interim Ordinance No. 725 establishing a six-month moratorium on the construction of new electronic message center signs; and
WHEREAS, the City completed a study regarding electronic message signs; and
WHEREAS, resulting from the study, sign ordinance amendments were adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Champlin that the Interim Ordinance establishing a six-month moratorium on the construction of new electronic message center signs be repealed.
