LETTER: ArMand Nelson is clear choice for Champlin mayor

Since moving to Champlin in late 1998, I have been impressed with the caliber of leadership in the office of mayor. Both Steve Boynton and Mark Uglem have been effective, collaborative, and approachable servants in our community. Electing ArMand Nelson is a clear choice in continuing that legacy of strong leadership. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to observe ArMand serve in several leadership roles:  as PTO President at Oxbow Elementary School, as church president at Servant of Christ, on the Parks and Recreation Board, and as a member of the City Council. He has the experience and the proven track record of working hard for improvements, being fiscally responsible, working cooperatively with people, and solving problems thoughtfully. I hope you’ll join me in electing ArMand Nelson as Champlin’s mayor this November.
