4th annual Halloween Family Fun Day to take over Weaver Lake Park

The Maple Grove Community Organization is planning its Happy Halloween Family Fun event and following the tradition of MGCO’s other events (Breakfast with Santa, Sleigh Bells & Sparkle Parade & Maple Grove Days) the kids are sure to have a fun afternoon.

The event will take place Saturday, Oct. 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Weaver Lake Park, 8401 Dunkirk Lane. Wear a costume and bring parents for an afternoon of silly spooky fun.

The natural setting of the park hosts the perfect Halloween back drop as the children will follow a map to 20+ stations of games like the Web of Confusion Maze, the Scarecrow Jump, inflatable rides, Esmeralda’s the Witches potion (which will surely change the color of someone’s hair), pumpkin roll, Halloween Mini Golf, bingo, crafts, music and so much more for an eerie and ghostly kickoff Halloween fun.

The event costs $5 per child, ages 2-8 years, adults are free. All games, trick or treats and rides are included in the cost. Additional refreshments will be available for a fee.

Registration forms are available at maplegrovedays.org or at the Maple Grove Community Center, advance registration begins on Oct. 1 at the Maple Grove Community Center, 12951 Weaver Lake Road. No mail, email or phone registrations accepted. Space is limited so sign up early.
