Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from Sept. 20 through Oct. 3, 2012.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 24-year-old Brooklyn Park man Sept. 22 at Central Ave./Seventh Street for driving after suspension. He was released with a citation and his vehicle was released to a valid driver.

Osseo Police responded to a domestic violence compliant Sept. 24 on the 100 block of Eighth Ave. N.E. and arrested a 38-year-old Osseo man for fifth degree domestic assault. The suspect was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Osseo Police arrested a 38-year-old Brooklyn Park women Sept. 24 on the 400 block of County Road 81 for driving without proof of insurance and no Minnesota driver license. She was released with a citation and her vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police assisted West Hennepin Public Safety arresting a 35-year-old Elk River man on the 400 block of County Road 81 on Sept. 29 for fifth degree domestic assault. He was taken into custody without incident and released to West Hennepin Public Safety. He was also issued a citation for driving after revocation and his vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police responded to an assault in progress at a business on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. on Sept. 30. Police arrested a 42-year-old Maple Grove man for disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia and he was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department. He was also trespassed from the establishment for one year.

Osseo Police arrested a 56-year-old Maple Grove man on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. on Sept. 30 for theft of services and disorderly conduct. The suspect was released pending formal charges.

Osseo Police arrested a 52-year-old Robbinsdale women on Country Road 81 on Oct. 3 for fourth degree DWI, fourth degree alcohol over .08, and driving with a open alcohol container in a motor vehicle. She was booked at the Champlin Police Department and her vehicle was impounded.

Incidents:

Osseo Police took a theft of cell phone report from the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. on Sept. 20. The phone and suspect were located using GPS tracking on the phone. The incident was referred to Osseo High School Liaison Officer for possible charges.

Osseo Police took a damage to property report from the 10200 block of 93rd Ave. N. on Sept. 21. The victim reported his cell phone was damaged by a student at Osseo Junior High. The incident was referred to the Osseo Junior High School Liaison Officer.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. on Sept. 22. No problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. on Sept. 23. No problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to a juvenile trespassing complaint on the 300 block of Sixth Ave. N.E. on Sept. 23. Contact was made with the suspects and they were advised. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to a verbal dispute on the 500 block of Second Ave. N.E. on Sept. 25. The incident was mediated by Osseo Police. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police took a damage to property report on the 600 block of Second Ave. N.E. on Sept. 25. The victim reported damage to a screen on the front door of her house. Pictures were taken and the case is currently under investigation. There are no suspects.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on the 10200 block of 93rd Ave. on Sept. 26. No problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to an intrusion alarm on the 500 block of Second Ave. N.E. on Sept. 27. Responding officers found an unsecured garage door. The property was secured by a key holder.

Osseo Police took a theft of medication from a residence on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Sept. 27. The case is currently under investigation by Osseo Police, Hennepin County Crime Lab and the Hennepin County Detectives. There are no suspects.

Osseo Police responded to a possible domestic violence report on the 100 block of Seventh Ave. S.E. on Sept. 29. Investigating officers learned no assault occurred and no charges were applicable. One party involved in the incident was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance for mental health issues.

Osseo Police responded to a verbal dispute on the 100 block of Seventh Ave. S.E. on Sept. 30. The incident was mediated by Osseo Police. There are no charges pending.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 32-year-old female feeling ill on the 200 block of First Ave. N.W. on Sept. 20. She was transported to North Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 84-year-old male that had fallen down on the 50 block of Sixth Street N.E. on Sept. 22. He was provided first aid and transported to North Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a possible heart attack on the 600 block of Central Ave. on Sept. 27. The 81-year-old female patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 79-year-old female choking on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Sept. 28. The patient was able to spit up the obstruction.

Osseo Police responded to a stroke on the 600 block of Central Ave. on Sept. 30. The 89-year-old female patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 24-year-old female feeling ill on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 27-year-old male having a seizure on the 300 block of Central Ave. on Oct. 2. He was provided oxygen and was transported to The University of Minnesota Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 87-year-old male that was bleeding from his head on the 600 block of Central on Oct. 3. He was provided first aid and was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 80-year-old unconscious female on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Oct. 3. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 17-year-old with a possible broken ankle on Oct. 3 on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. The patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a property damage hit and run accident of several parked vehicle on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive on Sept. 27. Accident debris found on the ground indicates the striking vehicle may be a late 80’s Ford product. A state accident report was completed. The case is currently under investigation.

Osseo Police responded to a property damage one-vehicle accident on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. on Sept. 28. The striking vehicle collided with a road sign in a parking lot. A state accident report was completed. There are no charges pending.
