LETTER: Rogers councilor supports Jakel, Hall

To the Editor:

Having been actively involved in Rogers for many years I have gained a solid understanding of the community’s needs and what it takes to be on the City Council. I have also had many opportunities to observe other members of the community giving of their time and effort to make the community a better place. Several of those people are on the upcoming ballot for Rogers.

I strongly support Darren Jakel & Don Hall for City Council. Each has given tirelessly to the Rogers area. Darren serves on the Park Board, was previously on the City Council, the Planning Commission and has helped the community via many other avenues. Don is a vital member of the Rogers Lions, a successful local business owner, and was unanimously picked to fill the recently vacated City Council position. They have demonstrated that they put the community’s needs first and will seriously and fairly represent Rogers residents.

Likewise, Jay Bunting has been a constant supporter of the community in many, many ways over the years. He has a solid business background and the passion to do the right thing for all of his constituents as Mayor. These three will continue to manage the city in a responsible manner and lead Rogers to continued success as the city grows.
