Arrests & Citations
On Friday, Sept. 21, at 7:25 a.m. n the 1600 block of Hamel Rd., a 16-year old male was reported as a runaway. He was located and cited.
On Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 5:36 p.m. on the 700 block of Highway 55, there was a gas drive-off of $38.30 involving a female driver.
On Sunday, Sept. 23, at 12:36 a.m. on the 500 block of Highway 55, there as a report of a stolen wallet.
On Monday, Sept. 17, at 4:22 a.m. on the 300 block of Lorenz St., Loretto, homeowners reported loud music. Upon arrival, officer was unable to hear any music and contacted the reporting party by phone. When speaking with her, she discovered that the music was coming from her garage where a radio was on.
On Monday, Sept. 17, at 6:19 p.m. on the 200 block of Highway 55, officers were called for a locked vehicle, which was gone upon arrival.
On Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 9:33 a.m. at the Loretto Fun Fest site, a woman’s watch was found and will be held at the Medina Police Department until the owner comes forward.
On Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 11:43 a.m. on the 1700 block of Morgan Rd., a resident came into the police station and reported that her son had received a suspicious letter in the mail about his student loans being delinquent. The letter appeared to be a scam and she was advised.
On Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 6:56 at Highway 55 and Rolling Hills Rd., an officer responded to a call for an abandoned vehicle. Upon arriving, he found the pickup parked, unoccupied, with the driver’s door standing open. The owner was contacted by phone. He was hunting on adjacent property, and said that he must have left the door open by mistake. Nothing appeared to be missing.
On Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m. on the 3900 block of Arrowhead Dr., there was a report of damage to crops.
On Thursday, Sept. 20, at 11:46 a.m. a homeowner reported that he’d received a collection notice stating that an account had been opened in his name; he stated he did not have an account.
On Thursday, Sept. 20, at 5:59 p.m. on the 300 block of Clydesdale Tr., there was a report of a male standing outside his vehicle with the trunk open and looking around. Officers arrived on the scene but could not locate the male.
On Thursday, Sept. 20, at 11:04 p.m. on the 3200 block of Mill Dr., officer located two younger males exiting a vehicle and walking out into a field. They stated that they were looking for a hat possibly left behind earlier, and were advised of park hours.
On Friday, Sept. 21, at 9:47 a.m. on the 800 block of Highway 55, there was a report of damage to a lawn, concrete curb and driveway from a vehicle driving up an embankment from a parking lot.
On Friday, Sept. 21, at 4:14 p.m. on the 2000 block of Cottonwood Tr., it was reported that someone had attempted to open a line of credit.
On Friday, Sept. 21, at 7:18 p.m. on the 100 block of Primrose Lane, a 30-year old female reported being bitten by a dog.
On Saturday, Sept. 22, at 6:33 p.m. on the 300 block of Sunnyridge Lane, Loretto, a resident reported the smell of smoke. The Loretto Fire Department responded but was unable to locate any signs of smoke.
On Saturday, Sept. 22, at 9:43 p.m. on the 00 block of Hamel Rd., a 17-year old male was transported to the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center resulting from a domestic complaint.
