Crimson casts candidates

Maple Grove Senior High School will continue with its 2012 Homecoming festivities this week.

A Homecoming Bonfire will take place Thursday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. behind the school. Activities include: car smash, climbing wall, chin up bar and music. There will also be prizes and free food. Bonfire events take place rain or shine.

The 2012 Maple Grove Senior High School Homecoming royalty include: Junior class representatives Tori Chance and Arnold Fonyam; Sophomore class representatives Dylan Garves and McKenna Peplinski; Senior class representatives Kirsten Adank, Maddie Salas, Ashley LaPoint, Casey Ruprecht, Marissa Lister, Joe Gobran, Sean McKenna, Cole Peshut, Mark Eres and Jack Wallick.

This year’s Homecoming Coronation and Pepfest will be Friday, Oct. 5, at 8:25 a.m. in the school gym. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

The Homecoming Football Game is Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. The Crimson play against Centennial.

Saturday, Oct. 6, will be the Homecoming Dance in the cafeteria at the school. The dance will run from 8 to 11 p.m. Cost to attend is $7 per person. Students can purchase tickets at school with an ID.

Themes for the rest of week include: Thursday is American Day (dress patriotic) and Friday is Spirit Day. No hats are allowed.
