Clyde E. Wiley
A memorial service for Clyde Eugene Wiley, 83, of Osseo will be Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Osseo Senior Center, 415 Central Ave. in Osseo.
Mr. Wiley passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012. He was born in Minneapolis on Jan. 13, 1929.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Wiley of nearly 64 years; his children, Bonnie (Walter) Timm, Ardis Wiley, Buck “Clyde” (Lois) Wiley and Dohn Wiley; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wiley was preceded in death by his beloved son, Mark Wiley.
He grew up in Osseo and spent most of his life living, working and raising his family there. He was active in his community and was especially dedicated to his service with the Osseo Lions Club.
He was happiest spending time with his wife and children. If you knew him, you knew that he always had a melody he was singing and a joke ready to share. He had many hobbies and passions — from reading to repairing.
More then anything Mr. Wiley loved to travel, be it by plane or by automobile. For many years he enjoyed rebuilding and flying his own airplanes. He spent 19 years traveling with his wife Marge all across the United States, frequenting Hawaii and eventually calling Casa Grande Arizona home.
There are many things we could say about Clyde, but mostly we shall say we love him, we miss him, and we will hold him in our hearts until at last we meet again.
