NOW TO OCT. 18 — The Maple Grove Farmers Market takes place every Thursday now through Oct. 18, from 3 to 7 p.m. (through September) and from 3 to 6 p.m. in October. The farmers market is at the Maple Grove Community Center, 12951 Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove. All items locally grown and produced by the 50+ vendors — fresh produce, flowers, artisan breads, baked goods, eggs, cheese, meats, canned goods, jams, honey, syrup, sweets and more. SEPT. 14 TO 16 — The Maple Grove Autumn Arts Festival will take place Friday, Sept. 14 to Sunday, Sept. 16. Hearts for Heritage run/walk
SEPT. 15 — The third annual “Hearts for Heritage 6K Run/Walk” will take place Saturday, Sept. 15, around Rice Lake in Maple Grove. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. with the race starting at 9 a.m. at the softball field next to Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church. This race kicks off the fall festival being held later in the day at Heritage Christian Academy. This event is open to the public. The cost to attend is $20 per person, with a $60 maximum per family.
