Fire crews respond to numerous Labor Day Weekend hot spots

Labor Day weekend started with

a blaze around 12:15 p.m., Friday, Aug. 31 as Anoka Champlin Police Department responded to this truck fire at Hwy. 169 and 109th Avenue in Champlin. Firefighters utilized two pre-connects to knock down the fully involved vehicle. There were no reported injuries. It was a fiery weekend around the metro with an abandoned house fire in Monticello, a structure fire in Richfield, an apartment fire in Roseville and a 3-alarm house fire in Apple Valley.
