The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at 1920 County Road 90 on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. to review the following requests:
Twin Cities Polo Club, requests that the City consider the following actions for the property located at 6755 Turner Road (PID No. 27-118-24-42-0006 and 27-118-24-31-0002):
1. An amendment to their existing conditional use permit to allow a limited number of non-horse related special events during the April-October season on the property.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ENCLAVE AT BROCKTON
STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT TAX DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that the Medina city council will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Medina city hall to conduct a public hearing on whether to establish The Enclave at Brockton storm sewer improvement tax district. The tax district will allow the city to acquire, construct, reconstruct, extend, maintain and otherwise improve storm sewer systems and related facilities within The Enclave at Brockton subdivisions and to levy a tax against property within the district to pay for such costs. The property to be included within the storm sewer improvement tax district is the land being developed as The Enclave at Brockton, which is an area of approximately 50 acres generally located west of Brockton Lane and south of Hamel Legion Park. Persons wishing to express an opinion regarding this matter are invited to attend and testify at the hearing or to submit written comments prior to or at the hearing.

Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Vinland Center Sanitary Sewer Extension for the City of Independence is hereby requested. The work consist of one 6’ diameter pre-cast lift station, one 6’ diameter valve manhole, two submersible sewage pumps and controls, 1,800 feet of 4” HDPE forcemain, one 6’ diameter combination air release/ clean out manhole, and one 3-way connection/ clean out manhole for the forcemain. Additional site work including connection to existing system and restoration work will make up the remainder of the project. Bids shall be received by the City of Independence at the office of the Administrator, Toni Hirsch until 10:00 am, local time, on September 24, 2012 and then at said office opened and read aloud.
