Bigger and better than ever, the Loretto Fun Fest is back for a thirteenth year. Here is a rundown of events to plan your weekend around.
Saturday, Sept. 15
Festivities begin at 1 p.m. with lots of fun for children including inflatable bouncers, a kiddie train, rock climbing and Gonzo the Clown.
Those hunting the medallion should get to the Lion’s Park concession stand by 1.
There will live music, food, beer all day, and the “Loretto Market” with plenty of great vendors from 1 to 7.
Brave enough for a tethered hot air balloon ride? Fun Fest button holders 10 years and older can start lining up at 5:45.
At 8 p.m., the fireworks fly at the Loretto ball fields, a great introduction to the street dance that feature Mick Sterling and the Irresistibles and runs until midnight.
Fun Fest button are on sale now at a number of locations throughout Loretto, and provide free entrance to all events.
