Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from July 11th through July 29th.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 34-year-old Osseo man on July 12 for driving after cancellation and failing to transfer motor vehicle title. The suspect was released with a citation and his vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 23-year-old Minneapolis man on July 13 for driving after revocation and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle on County Road 81. The suspect was released with a citation and his vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 42-year-old Crystal woman on July 14 for driving under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was transported to North Memorial Hospital for a blood test. Charges are pending the results of the blood test.

Osseo Police located a 27-year-old Brooklyn Center man that was wanted for an assault in Anoka County on July 14 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The suspect was taken into custody and booked at the Anoka County Jail. No Osseo charges are pending.

Osseo Police arrested a 19-year-old Minneapolis women on July 14 on County Road 81 for a not a drop violation, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was released with a citation.

Osseo Police arrested a 23-year-old Mankato man on July 20 on the County Road 81 for third degree DWI, third degree alcohol concentration of over .08, speeding, and running a stop sign. The suspect was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department and his vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 57-year -old Maplewood man on July 20 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive for driving after cancellation. The suspect was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department and his vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 28-year-old Minneapolis women on July 27 on County Road 81 for providing a false name to a police officer, speeding, and a Hennepin County warrant. The suspect was booked at the Hennepin County Jail and her vehicle was impounded.

Incidents:

A bicycle was reported stolen to Osseo Police on July 11 on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. There are no suspects.

Osseo Police responded to a dog bite on the 100 block of Third Street N.E. on July 11. The dog was placed on a 10-day rabies quarantine.

A bicycle was reported stolen to Osseo Police on July 12 on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. There are no suspects.

A theft of a backpack and iPod was reported on July 17 on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. The case is under investigation.

Osseo Police responded to a business panic alarm on the 100 block of Central Ave. on July 17. The alarm was accidentally tripped by an employee.

Osseo Police responded to a verbal dispute on the 100 block of Fifth Ave. N.E. on July 17. Police were able to mediate a resolution. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police were dispatched to intoxicated person causing a disturbance on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. on July 21. The 18-year-old Dayton man was placed on a 72-hour emergency hold and was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police were dispatched to an intrusion alarm on the 300 block of Central Ave. on July 21. The alarm was accidentally set off by the key holder. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police were dispatched to an intrusion alarm on the 200 block of County Road 81 on July 21. Police discovered an unsecured door. A key holder was notified to secure the building.

Osseo Police responded to the 200 block of Seventh Ave. S.E. on July 22 for a dispute between a landlord and renter. Osseo Police were able to mediate the situation.

A theft of lawn ornaments was reported stolen on the 100 block of Eighth Ave. N.E. on July 23. There are no suspects.

A theft of several items from a driveway in the 500 block of Second Ave. N.W. was reported to Osseo Police on July 25. Suspect information was gathered and the case was forwarded to the Hennepin County Detectives.

Osseo Police responded to a noise disturbance on the 600 block North Oaks Drive on July 28. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to a disturbance on the 300 block of Central Ave. on July 29. Contact was made with the suspects and resolved the issue. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to an open door and alarm sounding on the 600 block of First Ave. N.W. on July 29. Police searched the premises and notified the property owner.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a report of a person having a possible heart attack on the 500 block of Second Ave. S.E. on July 11. The 84-year-old female patient was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a person having a possible heart attack on the 500 block of Second Ave. S.E. on July 12. The 49-year-old male patient was transported to the hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a person having trouble breathing on the 600 block of Central Ave. on July 13. The 63-year-old female patient was transported to Unity Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of possible heat exhaustion on the 200 block of Third Ave. S.E. on July 14. The 58-year-old patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a person having a possible heart attack on the 600 block of Central Ave. The 87-year-old female patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of an unconscious person on the 500 block of a Central Ave. on July 17. The patient was provided medical treatment and refused transport to the hospital.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a 58-year-old male that fell on the 200 block of Third Ave. S.E. on July 19. The patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of an unconscious person on the 300 block of Central Ave. on July 21. The 73-year-old male patient had fallen off a stool and hit his head. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a person having difficulty breathing on the 600 block of Central Ave. on July 21. The 83-year-old female patient was provide oxygen and was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of an 88-year-old female having difficulty breathing on the 600 block of Central Ave. on July 23. The patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident on July 19 on County Road 81 and Fourth Ave. S.E. A state accident report was filed and both parties exchanged information. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to report of a person struck by a vehicle on the 300 block of County Road 81 on July 27. The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical assistance. A state accident report was filed. There are no charges pending.
