On Thursday, July 12, at 5 p.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Rd., there was a $20 gas drive off. The case is under investigation.
On Friday, July 13, at 12:10 p.m. on the 100 block of Homestead Tr., it was reported that a diamond ring was missing from a residence.
On Monday, July 9, at 9:04 a.m. on the 00 block of Hamel Rd., a child’s pool was taken from a property. Beer bottles were also left on the property.
On Tuesday, July 10, at 5:10 p.m. on the 500 block of Highway 55, officers received a call for a dog running traffic. Cars were stopped and people were trying to catch it. The dog ran home, and it s advised of the Dog at Large violation and the need for identification on the animal.
On Wednesday, July 11, at 10:25 a.m. on the 4200 block of Shorewood Tr., there was a report of a dog running at large. The dog was not located upon officer arrival.
On Wednesday, July 11, at 6:55 p.m. on the 700 block of Highway 55, there was a gas drive-off of $69.66. This was a misunderstanding at the pump. The driver was reached and returned to pay.
On Thursday, July 12, at 1:16 p.m. at Highway 55 and Willow Dr., an officer observed sparks coming from underneath a vehicle that was traveling on Highway 55. As the officer was attempting to stop the driver, the undercarriage of the vehicle started on fire. The drive pulled over and removed her children from the car. The flames were extinguished by the Hamel and Loretto Fire Departments.
On Saturday, July 14, at 10:18 p.m. on the 400 block of Highway 55, it was reported that someone might be smoking marijuana in one of the rooms at the hotel and were going to be evicted.
On Saturday, July 14, at 11:02 p.m. at County Rd. 24 and Holy Name Dr., there was a report of fireworks in the area. An officer arrived and sat in the area for a while, but did not observe or hear fireworks. The Plymouth Police Department also received a fireworks complaint a short time late in the area, but no fireworks were observed.
On Saturday, July 14, at 11:13 p.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Rd., Graffiti was reported on the men’s bathroom wall.
