Maple Grove police looking for suspect in possible criminal sexual conduct case

The Maple Grove Police Department is asking for the public’s helping in getting information regarding a possible criminal sexual conduct case that took place in the morning hours of Thursday, June 21.

Around 9:50 a.m. on June 21, Maple Grove Police received a call of a possible criminal sexual conduct near the 9100 block of Upland Lane N. on or near the walking path south of the mentioned address.

Officers responded to the scene and spoke with the victim.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’6" to 6′ tall, late teens to early 20’s in age with sandy blonde crew cut hair, according to the press release.

At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a crew neck fitted black t-shirt and blue jeans.

According to the press release, the suspect arrived on foot carrying a camouflage backpack and a black metal box. The suspect fled the scene traveling north on the path.

Maple Grove Police are actively investigating the case and is looking for the public’s help in locating the suspect.
