Hennepin County Sheriff adds suspects to Most Wanted List

Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek is seeking the public’s assistance in information leading to the arrest of two new suspects on the Most Wanted List.

Jessica Bennette Brown, 24, has an active warrant for violating her probation after a felony theft conviction, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Brooklyn Center Police Department filed charges against Brown.

Brown is described as an African-American female, 5’5" tall, 146 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The second suspect is James Leshawn Williams, 35, with an arrest warrant for unlawful possession of cocaine, according to the sheriff’s office.

Williams was with his child, a minor, at the time he tried to conceal the drug by consuming it. The Minneapolis Police Department filed charges against Williams.

He is described as an African-American male, 5’7" tall, 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Citizens can provide tips on most wanted suspects through their local law enforcement agency or the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 1-888-988-TIPS. Crime Stoppers also receives phone calls and text messages at 1-888-222-TIPS.

Tips may be provided anonymously and with a possible cash reward of up to $1,000 if information leads to a suspect’s arrest.
