Osseo Police report

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the City of Osseo from May 17 to May 31.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 32-year-old Champlin man on May 19 near Hwy. 169 and Hwy. 610 for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI and gross misdemeanor second degree refusal to test. The suspect was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department. His vehicle was also impounded and is being held for vehicle forfeiture.

Osseo Police arrested a 44-year-old Fridley man on May 20 near Central Avenue and County Road 81 for failing to register as a predatory offender. The suspect was booked at the Hennepin County Adult jail. The case is currently under investigation by the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and Osseo Police.

Osseo Police arrested at 25-year-old Champlin man on 93rd Ave./Hwy. 169 on May 26 for gross misdemeanor second degree DWI and expired registration. The suspect vehicle was towed and is being held for vehicle forfeiture. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Osseo Police arrested an 18-year-old Maple Grove man on May 25 on the 600 block for felony possession of stolen property. The case is currently under investigation by the Osseo Police Department, Maple Grove Police Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Department.

Osseo Police arrested a 37-year-old St Cloud man on May 26 on the 400 block of County Road 81 for driving after revocation. The suspects’ car was towed and he was released with a court citation.

Osseo Police arrested a 28-year-old St. Cloud women on May 27 on the 1000 block of County Road 81 for driving after revocation and a Stearns County Warrant. She was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested an 18-year-old Brooklyn Park man on May 28 for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and no seat belt while Osseo Police were participating in a safe and sober traffic detail in Brooklyn Park. The suspect was released with a citation.

Incidents:

Osseo Police were dispatched to a landlord/renter dispute on the 600 block of Second Avenue N.E. on May 21. The dispute was mediated by Osseo Police. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police were dispatched to an intrusion alarm on the 100 block of Broadway Street West on May 23. Responding officers determined the alarm was set off by severe weather.

Osseo Police responded to the 200 block of Second Street S.E. on May 24 for a welfare check. A 22-year-old Osseo man was placed on a 72-hour health and welfare hold and was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 100 block of Seventh Avenue N.E. on May 27 on a 911 hang up call. No problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on May 27 on the 300 block of Second Street S.E. Responding officers learned it was an accidental misdial.

Osseo Police responded to an intrusion on the 50 block of Third Street N.E. on May 28. Responding officers located a broken window on a business but appears no access was gained. The case is currently under investigation by Osseo Police and the Hennepin County Crime Lab.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a possible heart attack on May 18 on the 300 block of Second Street S.E. The 74-year-old male patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a person that fell down May 18 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. The 74-year-old male patient was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a person bleeding on May 19 on the 200 block of Third Avenue S.E. The 58-year-old patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of difficulty breathing on May 21 on the 200 block of Third Avenue S.E. The 58-year-old patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of leg pain on the May 21 on the 100 block of Fifth Avenue N.E. The 74-year-old female patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a possible stroke on May 25 on the 500 block of Second Avenue S.E. The 87-year-old female patient was given oxygen and transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbindale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police were dispatched to a possible heart attack on May 26 on the 100 block of Second Avenue N.E. The 90-year-old female patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police were dispatched to a difficulty breathing complaint on the 50 block of Fifth Avenue N.E. on May 27. The 71-year-old patient was provided oxygen and was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.
