Rockford Principal named ‘Administrator of the Year’

Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School (REAMS) Principal Brenda Petersmeyer has been named Administrator of the Year by the Central Minnesota Counselors Association (CMCA).

"It is truly an honor to be recognized by the Central Minnesota Counselors Association as administrator of the year," said Petersmeyer. "I am extremely blessed to work with a staff that cares very deeply about students and their families, and is always willing to go the extra mile for kids. Our counselors play such an important part in helping students feel connected to school in many different ways. We are very fortunate at REAMS to have a staff that works so hard to help students find success each and every day."

The CMCA is a division of the Minnesota School Counselors Association and is comprised of over 90 school districts. REAMS Counselor Nick Jacobs nominated Brenda Petersmeyer as the administrator of the year. Each year, the association recognizes an elementary school counselor, middle school counselor, high school counselor, administrative assistant, administrator, school counseling site supervisor and three scholarship finalists at their April recognition dinner.
