Thursday, July 1

Rogers Police Officers arrested Dustin Michael Taylor of Princeton for Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle. Minnesota State Patrol, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Deputies and Rogers Police were all involved in this pursuit of a motorcycle driven by Mr. Taylor. Mr. Taylor was apprehended after being involved in a minor accident with a Rogers Police car. He was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. The Minnesota State Patrol is currently investigating the crash.

Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers requested that Rogers Police Officers remove some debris from the interstate. Prior to arriving on the scene, Rogers Police Officers learned that the debris caused a property damage crash. Rogers Police Officers removed a water raft from the interstate and assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with the semi-trailer versus passenger car crash

Trista Victoria LaFrance of Big Lake was arrested at Kohls, 21985 South Diamond Lake Road, for Theft by Shoplifting. Additionally, Ms. LaFrance had an outstanding arrest warrant from Wright County. Rogers Police Officers issued Ms. LaFrance a citation for the theft. She was then transported to St. Michael where a Wright County Deputy took custody of Ms. LaFrance and transported her to the Wright County Jail for booking. This case was forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Saturday, July 3

Russell Joseph Chamberlin of Crosby was cited for not wearing a seatbelt. Mr. Chamberlin was released at the scene. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Cierra Christine Johnson (19 years-old) of Merrifield was cited for the Possession of an Open Bottle and not wearing her seatbelt. Ms. Johnson was released at the scene. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

David Harvey Turner of Crosby was arrested for the Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana in a motor vehicle and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Turner was issued a citation and released at the scene. This case was forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Tuesday, July 6

Wade Michael Forde (19 years-old) of Elk River was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Mr. Forde was issued a citation and released to a sober friend. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Daniel Mitchell Lundeen of Elk River was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Mr. Lundeen was cited and released to a sober friend. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

A resident that resides on Bluebill Avenue, in the City of Rogers reported that an unknown person(s) had stolen his boat protector and receiver hitch. Estimated loss is $200.00.

The Super America located at 21550 South Diamond Lake Road, was robbed at gunpoint. The suspects took cash and cigarettes. Hennepin County Crime Lab was contacted to process the scene. Hennepin County Detectives are currently investigating.

Wednesday, July 7

Jose Daniel Sanchez Jr. of Elk River was cited for Violation of an Instruction Permit and Failure to Drive with Due Care. Mr. Sanchez’s vehicle was impounded. Mr. Sanchez was cited and released. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Kimberly Lynn Dupre of Rogers was arrested for disorderly conduct. Ms. Dupre was issued a citation and released at the scene. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Thursday, July 8

Rogers Police Officers assisted Hennepin County Deputies on an unruly 15-year-old in the 19100 block of South Diamond Lake Road. Officers spoke with the child until Hennepin County arrived. No further action taken.

A 17-year-old boy from the Rogers was cited for curfew violation. The juvenile male was brought to his parents’ house where he was released to his mother. This case has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Juvenile Division for prosecution.

Rogers Police Officers assisted the Elk River Police Department with the motor vehicle pursuit of three armed gunman that had just robbed Beaudry Express Service Station in Elk River. The suspects, Randy Scott Bennett Jr. of Big Lake, Minn.; Brandon DeShawn Wilkes of Minneapolis, and Darryll Lamont Wiles of Minneapolis, were arrested. The suspect’s vehicle crashed through the Rogers Public Works Fence and the vehicle landed in the swamp area. Damage to the fence is estimated at $2,971.13. Elk River Investigators are seeking criminal charges for the above suspects.

Shawn William Dougherty of Forest Lake was arrested for disorderly conduct and served a No Trespass Order from Cabela’s. Mr. Dougherty was issued a citation and released. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Rogers Police Officers were patrolling in the area of 131st and Brookside Lane area and located a light pole that looks like it had been hit by a vehicle. Rogers Public Works was notified of the incident. This incident is currently under investigation.

Friday, July 9

A juvenile female reported that her vehicle had been stolen from the Target Super Store located at 21615 S. Diamond Lake Road. The juvenile stated that the registered owner, her mother, was currently out of town. Officers contacted the mother who stated that she would drive back from Wisconsin to sign a Motor Vehicle Theft Report. UPDATE: The vehicle was not stolen. The vehicle was taken by the victim’s brother without her knowing.

Rogers Public Works Staff reported that there was graffiti near the concession stand window at North Community Park located at 13750 Bittersweet Avenue. No suspects have been identified.

An accident occurred on South Diamond Lake Road and Wellstead Drive in the City of Rogers. Joan Lillian Kinn of Osseo was cited for No Insurance and Daniel Christopher Pramann of Champlin was cited for Failureto Yield right of way. No further investigation required.

Saturday, July 10

A juvenile reported that while she was at a friend’s apartment on Maple Avenue her Sony Camera was stolen. The juvenile stated that camera was located at a Pawn Shop in Elk River. The camera was put on hold. Officers from Rogers and Elk River Police are investigating.

Kofo Omobula Babajide of St. Michael was arrested for Theft by Shoplifting and Interference with a 911 call from Kohl’s Department Store located at 21985 S. Diamond Lake Road. As she was being arrested by officers, Ms. Babajide resisted arrest with force, committed two counts of 5th degree assault, provided false information to police, and criminal damage to property. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Sunday, July 11

Jamila Sayavong of Rogers was arrested for 5th Degree Assault. Ms. Sayavong was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where she was booked. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Jeremiah Allen Blackledge of Rogers was arrested for 4thDegree DWI. Mr. Blackledge’s vehicle was impounded. Mr. Blackledge was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Monday, July 12

A 17-year-old male from Rogers was arrested for 5th Degree Domestic Assault. The 17-year-old had gotten into a physical fight with his 15-year-old sister. The juvenile was transported to the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center where he was booked. This case was forwarded to the Hennepin County Juvenile Attorney’s office for prosecution.

Paul Thomas Vogstrom of Minnetonka was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant from LeSueurCounty. Mr. Vogstrom was issued citations for speeding, no motor vehicle insurance – owner, failure to transfer title within 10 days, & Possession of a small amount of Marijuana in a motor vehicle. Mr. Vogstrom’s vehicle was towed impounded. Mr. Vogstrom was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Oscar Aguilar-Montiel of Minneapolis was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant fromHennepin County. Additionally, Mr. Montiel was issued citations for No Minnesota Driver’s License, violating stop sign, and No Proof of Insurance. Mr. Montiel’s vehicle was impounded. Mr. Montiel was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked.

Tuesday, July 13

Rogers Police Officers assisted Dayton Police Department with a domestic assault that had occurred at the Dayton Trail Park. Francisco Cruz Cabera was arrested and transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. The Dayton City Attorney will be prosecuting.

Wednesday, July 14

A resident of Rogers reported that he sold his vehicle on Craig’s List for $14,000. When he went to deposit the cashier check he was notified that it was a counterfeit check. The victim’s vehicle has been entered as a stolen vehicle. UPDATE: The vehicle was recovered in the City of Ramsey and returned to the registered owner.

Thursday, July 15

Two 14-year-old juveniles, both of Rogers were cited for Curfew Violation. Both girls were released to their parents. This case has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Juvenile Division for prosecution.

Jason John Fobbe of Buffalo was arrested for Possession of a small amount of Marijuana in a motor vehicle and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Fobbe’s vehicle was impounded. Mr. Fobbe was cited and released. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Friday, July 16

Jesse Lee Kaehn of Fridley was arrested for Gross Misdemeanor No Insurance. Mr. Kaehn’s vehicle was impounded. Mr. Kaehn was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

An employee from Archway Marketing located at 19850 South Diamond Lake Road, reported that after her shift she came out and found her vehicle had two slashed tires and broken windows. Photographs were taken of the damage to the vehicle.

Sunday, July 18

Christopher Grant Ramlogan of Montpelier, North Dakota, was arrested for Felony Narcotics. Additionally, Mr. Ramlogan was charged with Resisting Arrest with Force, theft, possession of Marijuana in a motor vehicle & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Ramlogan’s vehicle was towed from the scene. Mr. Ramlogan was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. This case was referred to the Hennepin County Attorney for prosecution.

Darlene Lorraine Poland of Minneapolis was cited for No Motor Vehicle Insurance. Ms. Poland’s vehicle was impounded. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Monday, July 19

John Carl Walden of Edina was arrested for Driving after Suspension and speeding. Mr. Walden was able to contact his wife who came to the scene to recover the vehicle. Mr. Walden was cited and released. This case was forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

A 16-year-old from Elk River and a 17-year-old from Rogers were arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol. The juveniles were released to the custody of theirparents. This case was forwarded to the Hennepin County Juvenile Division for prosecution.

Andrew Joseph Cosico of Rogers was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol. The juvenile was transported to his home and released to the custody of his parents. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Tuesday, July 20

Rogers Police Officers found some graffiti spray painted on the front of the Rogers 18 Theatre. The cleanup is expected to be less than $ 250.00. This case is currently under investigation.

Tamara Justine Hedman of Rogers was arrested for Driving after Suspension. Ms. Hedman’s vehicle was impounded. She was cited and given a ride back to her residence. This case was forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Chad Mitchell Walczak of Rogers was arrested for Domestic Assault and interference with a 911 call. Mr. Walczak was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Chelsea Danielle Doyle of Monticello was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ms. Doyle was released at the scene. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Bruce Vang of St. Paul was arrested for Driving after Suspension. A passenger in Mr. Vang’s vehicle had a valid license and was allowed to take custody of the vehicle. Mr. Vang was cited and released. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Joshua John Stackhouse of Albertville was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Stackhouse was released at the scene. This case was forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Steven Andrew Kulkay of Elk River was arrested for Driving after Suspension. Mr. Kulkay’svehicle was impounded. Mr. Kulkay was cited and released. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

John L. Goodwin of Brooklyn Center was arrested for Driving after Suspension and No Insurance. Mr. Goodwin’s vehicle was impounded. He was cited and released at the scene. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

A resident of St. Michael reported that an unknown person(s) had stolen her purse from the French Lake Park and that her credit card was used at the Rogers Target. This case was forwarded to the Three Rivers Park District for investigation.

Jennifer Smith of Rogers was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant fromWashington County. Ms. Smith was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where she was booked.

Mitchell David Matthees of Crystal was arrested for small amount of Marijuana in a motor vehicle. Mr. Matthees’ vehicle was impounded. He was cited and released to a sober friend at the scene. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Jerry Allen Bloch of Shakopee was cited for Small amount of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia, and for not wearing a seatbelt. Mr. Bloch was released to a friend at the scene. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Saturday, July 24

The Super America, 21550 South Diamond Lake Road, was robbed at gunpoint by fiveindividuals. Hennepin County Crime Laboratorywas called to process the scene. Hennepin County Detectives are investigating.

An accident occurred on County Road 81 and County Rd 13 (Brockton Lane). The accident resulted in two citations. Michael Patrick Welsch of Zimmerman was cited for following too closely and Charles Glenn Steffen of Stables was cited for Improper Lane use. This case was forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Sunday, July 25

Joanne Marlene Lapic of Rogers was cited for Handicap Parking Violation and Unauthorized use of disability permit. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

A 16-year-old from Minneapolis was cited for Curfew Violation, Possession of Tobacco and Possession of small amount of Marijuana in a motor vehicle. Officer’s contacted the juvenile’s mother who stated she was unable to come and pick up her daughter. Rogers Police Officers transported the juvenile to Links, a Juvenile Curfew Detention Facility who took custody of the juvenile. This case has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Juvenile Division for prosecution.

A 16-year-old from Zimmerman was cited for curfew violation, No Minnesota Driver’s License, and No Insurance. The juvenile had suffered from a medical problem during the arrest and was transported by ambulance to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove. The juvenile’s mother was contacted. This case was forwarded to the Hennepin County Juvenile division for prosecution.

Monday, July 26

A resident of Rogers that resides on the 23500 block of Birch Circle reported an unknown person(s) had taken mail that was delivered to his address and left the envelopes in his newspaper bin.

Rogers Police Officers were called to an accident on South Diamond Lake Road and Rogers Drive. Anthony Christopher Nelson of Kerkhoven, Minnesota was cited for careless driving. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. This case was forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Miller Chevrolet reported that an unknown person(s) had removed and stolen a hood and a grill from a pickup that was parked outside in their lot. Hennepin County Crime Laboratory was called to process the scene. This case is currently under investigation.

Tuesday, July 27

A resident who resides in the 22300 block of 138th Avenue reported that an unknown person(s) put water in his lawn mower, leaf blower, gasoline trimmer. The above items were stored in a trailer in his driveway. .

Blake Norman Westrom from Kasson was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant from Goodhue County. Mr. Westrom was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked.

A resident who resides at 24500 block of Superior Drive reported an unknown person(s) had stolen his mailbox. The owner of the mailbox is the neighborhood association. The loss is less than $ 100.00.

Jacob John Williams of Crystal was arrested for Driving after Cancellation-IPS and No Insurance. Mr. William’s motorcycle was impounded. Mr. Williams was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Wednesday, July 28

Marcus Joshua Teske of Maple Grove was cited for Driving after Revocation, No Proof of Insurance and speed. Mr. Teske was able to find a friend to drive the vehicle home. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

A 17-year-old from Dayton was cited for Possession of a small amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The juvenile was released to the custody of hisfather. This case has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Juvenile Division for prosecution.

Jim Joy Paige of Rogers was arrested for domestic assault. Mr. Paige was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. This case was forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.

Thursday, July 29

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher reported that a reckless semi-trailer was west bound on Interstate 94 had hit several cars and was going approximately 100 mph. Rogers Police Officers located the semi-trailer on Interstate 94 just west of the Hwy. 101 exit. Larry James Canada of Belmine, Manitoba, Canada, was arrested for DWI and Criminal Damage to Property. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the accidents and transported Mr. Canada to Hennepin County Jail where he was booked.

A 17-year-old from Rogers was cited at the Rogers High School for possession of Tobacco and Drug Paraphernalia. The Juvenile was transported to his residence where he was released to the custody of hismother. This case has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Juvenile Attorney for prosecution.

Friday, July 30

Thomas Edward Meleen of Rogers was arrested for an outstanding Felony Warrant fromHennepin County. Mr. Meleen was transported to the Hennepin County jail where he was booked.

Du-Shawn Martin Earl Holmes of Minneapolis was arrested for Felony violation of OFP, Domestic Assault and non-compliant failureto register. Mr. Holmes was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office is prosecuting.

Saturday, July 31

Martin Ryan Zadow of Rogers was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant from Todd County and possession of an Open Bottle. Mr. Zadow’s passenger had a valid license so the vehicle was released to him. Mr. Zadow was transported to the Hennepin County Jail where he was booked. This case has been forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution.
