Maple Grove police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred during the week of May 18 through May 24, 2012. Refer to the city website Crime Mapping Section for additional details for the crimes of burglary, robbery, arson, theft and vehicle theft.

Friday, May 18

13300 block of Bass Lake Road – There was a report of a vehicle leaving a station without paying for gas.

12700 block of Elm Creek Blvd. – There was a report of a vehicle damaged while parked at Wild Bill’s.

SciMed Place – There was a report of an individual depositing forged checks at Baxter Credit Union.

11600 block of Red Fox Drive – There was a report of a stop sign and a private property sign written on with yellow paint.

Matthew Halter, 22, of Brooklyn Center was arrested for controlled substance- fifth degree possession of marijuana on the 6200 block of Major Ave. N.

Saturday, May 19

Elm Creek Blvd./86th Ave. – There was a report of something thrown at a vehicle driving in the area and causing a dent on the side.

9900 block of 65th Ave. – There was a report of a bicycle stolen from in front of a residence overnight.

10600 block of 107th Place – There was a report of a laptop stolen from unlocked a vehicle parked in a driveway overnight.

6600 block of Quantico Lane – The department responded to an individual having difficulty breathing. Officers administered oxygen until paramedics arrived on the scene.

8600 block of Zinnia Way – There was a report of license plates stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway overnight.

Robert Tischner, 46, of Maple Grove was arrested for assault/terroristic threats on the 14000 block of Sunnyslope Drive N.

Sunday, May 20

14900 block of 92nd Place – There was a report of a Harley Davidson foldout knife stolen from center console of an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway overnight.

14300 block of 95th Ave. – There was a report of a purse stolen from a vehicle parked in an open garage.

9000 block of Norwood Lane – There was a report of a garage door hit by eggs overnight.

9100 block of Orchid Lane – There was a report of a GPS unit and pair of prescription sunglasses stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

14900 block of 92nd Place – There was a report of amp stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a front yard overnight.

Monday, May 21

12700 block of Elm Creek Blvd. – There was a report of a group of individuals involved in previous shoplifting from Babies R Us leaving store without paying for merchandise. The suspects fled in vehicle.

400 block of West Eagle Lake Drive – The department responded to an individual not breathing. Officers assisted with CPR until a pulse returned and victim was transported to hospital by paramedics.

11200 block of N. Eagle Lake Blvd. – There was a report of vehicles gone through while parked in garage with door open overnight. There were two empty purses, a makeup bag and a parking pass MasterCard were stolen.

11700 block of Red Fox Drive – There was a report of graffiti spray painted on a stop sign and mailbox.

9500 block of Kirkwood Way – There was a report of a GPS unit, radar detector and loose change stolen from vehicles parked in a garage with overhead door open.

9900 block of 96th Place – There was a report of a GPS unit stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.

7200 block of West Timber Lane – There was a report of a camera stolen from an unlocked parked in driveway overnight.

Tuesday, May 22

6300 block of Wedgewood Lane – There was a report of shoplifting from CVS Pharmacy. The suspects fled in vehicle.

16400 block of County Road 30 – There was a report of approximately $100 of meat products stolen from Rainbow Foods. The suspects fled in a vehicle.

13300 block of Bass Lake Road – There was a report of a vehicle leaving a station without paying for gas.

7400 block of Mariner Drive – There was a report of a $20 bill stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway overnight.

Wednesday, May 23

12100 block of 86th Ave. – There was a report of mail stolen from a mailbox.

Other

There were 20 property damage and one personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.

Brian Regan, 55, of St. Michael was arrested May 15 for indecent exposure on the 12900 block of 63rd Ave. N.

Zacharie Houston, 24, of New Hope was arrested May 16 for robbery on the 9500 block of Blackoaks Lane N.

Keith Bruce, 21, of Minneapolis was arrested May 16 for robbery on the 9500 block of Blackoaks Lane N.

Derrick McGhee, 22, of Brooklyn Park was arrested May 16 for robbery on the 9500 block of Blackoaks Lane N.

Jeffrey Lawrence, 24, of Maple Grove arrested May 17 for fourth degree DUI alcohol concentration over .08, fourth degree DWI driving while impaired, careless driving and windshield with reflective/tinted glass at County Road 30 and Zircon Lane N.

Marissa Locke, 18, of Maple Grove was arrested May 17 of Maple Grove for shoplifting on the 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane N.
